Selaiyur Wine

Again, Yep again 🤣 with my maja atti planned for a night out yesterday, as per plan after Heber Hall day, we all set for our night out. Some new faces showed up ('Gokul').  Bishop Heber Hall Day was great and i could image myself on my hall day as well. In between some tears on the faces. Around 10.30 we rushed for Velachery bus and arrived Kora Kanival by time. Interestingly singalone chennai performance was going on, while entered the food court we started vibing, it went till 1 Am.  Trampoline space remembered my childhood days. We asked a Anna, to try those play area he allowed us without any charges. Then we played untill our exhaustion.  Snooker was the highlight for the day. Taught my friends to play snooker and they grabed it within few rounds. Afterwards we had our tea break in a nearby shop and started our trip to beach.  At last, this night out is end with a awesome Sunrise and engaging sunday.....

Because only 'one' of us can be the best in the world.  But, 'each' of us can be the best FOR the world said by my supreme senior Mr. Jaywant Michael, who is a Selaiyurian and a great professor currently working as a senior lecturer at University of Doha science and technology. Yesterday I got a wonderful opportunity to meet him virtual through the "VISA Program" organized by the Dean of International Programmes. I initiate the event by the College prayer and the gathering was introduced by Dr. Rufus and then it was hand over to the guest speaker. He did his UG in Economics in 1975-78. Such a great person while he was introducing himself, he started with a smile and mentioned that he is a selaiyurian, that time i got my goosebumps up and the spirit comes out as well. Selaiyurian has their own emotional brotherhood bond without any time period, "Once a Selaiyuri...

Today wasn't that well, lot of miscommunication, got hit by the wall and caterpillar bit.  Morning, we had college tour by Rufus sir and then we meet prof.Emery again for the interview and then i went to my room.  Night was good, meet my friends and hang out with them as well. Learned few Malayalam through the help of alphy, zibi and linsay. Then went to pink cafe for the dessert with pepsi, nivi, sudharasan, ethan, Kingsley ate some vanilla ice cream and milkshakes as well.  Reached hall with a late pass 😄.

After a long time visited the department for the first project review. It went well and i got signed from my project guide as well. Morning i was busy with my room arrangement.  Hall nights were actually fun and energetic, many starts their work after 9.00 PM. Morning's has it's own ecosystem and beautiful sun rise. I can't compare them in a vertical. Both as it's uniqueness.  After finishing my review, had some popsicles withy friend and my very own proof reader for my daily blogs. We used to have lot of lake sessions back in the US in which the we discussed the weekly events, people, etc.. Wonderful days.  Evening, i had a meeting in council room with prof. Gregary Emery from the University of Akron, US. Event was organised well and i narrate the vote of thanks. Tomorrow gonna be a great day as well.  Night never ends, travel never bored us (except travelling in the morning for the internship). See y'll on an another blog.  ...

Deepwoods 25, finally came to an end on 28th feb 2025. With a whole bunch of memories, happiness and learning day 3 done and dusted as by the theme "Redemption". May be this deepwoods was not upto the level, but my boys worked hard to bring back the MCC legacy once again. Lot of negative comments, who cares? let them comment.  Supports from the principal and faculties were the awesome part in this deepwoods. I never saw our principal this close with other cabinet members but this cabinet broke the prejudice.  In between Feb 28th was our principal Dr.Paul Wilson sir's Birthday i wished him with some flowers as usual. "Happy Birthday Sir." March 1st 2025, Saturday "Barnes Hall Day" as i mentioned earlier it was a long week. I was invited by my Barnes Hall friends.
