Do we ever help people others without a hidden benefit to ourselves?
Helping others is a moral values which taught to every one in my school and help the needy. During my Moral Value classes in 6th grade, My teacher told the same thing that we should help others without any expectations (Returns),
Honestly, are we helping others without any returns?
It's kind of irony where we need to help without any returns or the reward of helping is a return. For instance, when i was a fresher in college and most of the time i complete my assignment in the first place then my friends started asking me to to share the files, here i want to help them but i don't want them to copy cat my assignment still i share the assignment in return i want them to get marks in that subject. May be i helped them in return of them getting marks but behind i had my own return of my assignment were shared among the groups and I got the visibility among my friends.
So, This statement is also contradictive because when we help others without any returns, I would conclude that's the real definition of helping. Still the purpose of helping is always lies in the art of returning back. If you help a poor boy to educate himself and in return he will contribute something to the society (where your also belong to that society) so just a small act of helping will somehow help you back.
Helping is directly or indirectly proportionate to Return. At last by helping others your not only getting returns but also the satisfaction of your soul. Who knows that a big tree near the bus stop would be someone's thought of helping others by planting a tree.
