Practice Day πŸ˜‚

uhf, Finally auditions over, then what classes?
Yes, but here comes December 🎁⛄, My department is planning to conduct Christmas celebration on Monday, for that i am going to perform in mime.

So additional two more days after college auditions is kinf of blessed.

We started practicing from yesterday itself, after a day of practice, we finally came to rehearsal for the day. It was very fun, and it was very tough to manage people even though we are management students. Lot of energy, enthusiasm and practice were the key role performed by everyone today.

Some times we need not be perfect, but practice and discipline matters, we might take an another 10 hours for this mime, but we didn't.

Sincere practice and performance helped us today.

Day ended with lot of fun, suprise, sorrow, etc...
I interviewed random people regarding the college auditions, i got mixed responses throughout the interview, many said it went well and some said it's not that effective.

College Auditions (Day 2)

Awaited one, College auditions was very fun today and participated in debate (British parliament style), it was a new experience for me because i never participated before. The guest gave us a topic "Periodic sex Changes."

Before the debate, my boys participated in street play which was good. I vibed a lot today with my friends. Western acoustic was awesome today everyone did their best πŸ‘, especially OGB band (Old Gold Boys) performance which deserved the first place πŸ˜… πŸ˜‰ and they got it as well.

I couldn't cover a lot today but it went well without any problem. I remember on the first day orientation our principal said "Mcc will make you or break you" true words, the choice is mine. Once you get some position then you find the value and heat of the place. It was great working with CUS.

One more day left. will see what's left for tomorrow...

Fresher's Auditions

College auditions finally happening in MCC, it was a bit late but somehow my friends manage to conduct. College auditions comprises Fresher's Auditions and College Auditions which is happening for 3 days, so basically a  festival.

Today was Day 1 "Fresher's Auditions", which is conducted to express the talents of 1 year students, I was the coordinator for the informal event (painting).

Around 9.30 am i got everything from the academics convenor and reached the venue by 9.45 am, in the mean time the judge Ms.Insuvai arrived (She was very modest and talented in fine arts from Stella Maris college).

I started the event by 10.05 am around 14 people participated from various units of the college. It was an amazing event where the judge gave them the title as "Domestic Voliences". I gave them 15 mins to prepare as per the rule book and then started the timer for 45 mins for the event.

Everyone was very focused and gave complete efforts to their works, once the timer rang everyone explain their work to the judge. She was suprised by their work.

As a event coordinator for today's event I did by job, it was really a honor to coordinate a event and i get a new friend (Ms.Insuvai). Thanks Mr.Krithick for giving me this opportunity.

We have two more days....
Will see what is going to happenπŸ™πŸ˜‚

Is courage calling us?

Courage is Calling by Rayn Holiday, such an interesting book, it makes me motivated every day. This blog is about this book and why you need to read this book.

Thanks to Anuj Dwivedi who recommended this book to me, he was my roommate in Letourneau university. On my 1st day of letu university I didn't south hall (which meant for international students) but Anuj and my other friend helped me to get south hall by swapping their roommates, I grateful to have Anuj as my roommate, we not only shared our rooms but also our memories together. I never got a chance to stay with roommates, that was my 1st time. We used to have lot of late-night conversations, midnight maggies, etc... During our last week in the Uni, he gifted me his book "Courage is calling".

Ryan Holiday (born June 16, 1987) is an American marketer, author, businessman and podcaster, notable for marketing Stoic philosophy in the form of books. One of his books is Courage is calling, he shared his thought on the stoic virtues one need to have in his life, like a brave solider ready to face everything with courage as his sword.

This book contains three parts (Fear, courage and the heroic) each part has its unique way of writing, which help me to understand how to handle fear, sharpening my courage and act as a hero in real life. Some of my favorite chapters are focus on what's in front of you, the scariest thing to be is yourself, just start somewhere, just do something, make it a habit, it's good to be difficult and no one is unbreakable.

In every chapter the author makes me to be courage without any fear, handling tough situations and how to be a stoic person. After reading this book, you might get interest in your life, and you can find your purpose of life. He used many real examples from famous persons around the world.

"Let us not wait for other people to come to us and call upon us to do great deeds."

"If we won't answer, who will? If not now, when?"

This book won't be boring, i completed the 1st and 2nd part within 5 days and i took some rest and complete the last part within 2 days. I am just calling you to read this book, answer to this call (This is what the author mentioned prior in this book).

New Terms I learned,

Stoic, a person who can endure pain or hardship without showing their feelings or complaining.

Nihilism, the rejection of all religious and moral principles, in the belief that life is meaningless.

Megalopsuchia, the greatness of soul.

After words, I recommend you this book because, it has true values and insights which make you think critically, act instantly and make great decision.

"Struggle makes a man strong", yes struggle makes to think from our mistakes and lead us a new way of life.
