Fengal Cyclone πŸŒ€

Cyclones are very common in Tamil Nadu, especially during the month of November and December. I still remember, last year during the same dates there was heavy rain predicted in KTCC location and colleges closed for a week, I went home before the rain and stay safe there. But this year, I am here and the fengal cyclone just landfalling.

I guess this cyclone has some mood swing like humans because it formed as low depression and then depression and it gain power later it goes away from the land then it became cyclone, again changed into depression and finally a cyclone. I guess Fengal Cyclone wanted us to be alert and cautious. It took multiple dimensions just to scare us. I use Windy.com (Website) to track the weather update daily as well as some prediction for the upcoming weeks.

Couch potato routine was taken by me today, I simply stay in my comfy bed and took some rain shots and videos which I posted in Instagram. After finishing my lunch, we (I and my friends) decided to roam around the campus as it was not that rain and windy. Then around 3 pm we went to the woods and do some crazy things and drenched everyone in water (hopefully we won't get sick). I hope everyone staying safe.

Quote of the day: "A moment of Pain is worth a lifetime of a glory", enjoy every single moment of your life either it might be pain, or it might be prosperity but it's your life and time to glorify it. Pain will lead to the way towards prosperity.

Interblock

Interblock event is something we conduct in every hall to express their talents through various events like singing, dancing, debating, arm wrestling or so on....

Every month we have some interblock events, this month kamban mandram interblock happened yesterday where tamil debate, Kavithai and creative writing events were conducted.

I participated in every event and got second in tamil debate. It was awesome experience to attend, enjoy every minute of your life.

I thought that I am not that good tamil debating, but my friends told that i did well.
For this semester my only goal is to get the fullest from my college life.

I shared my Kavithai guys, do comment peopleπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Coffee ☕ or Tea 🍡

What do you prefer?

Coffee or Tea

I would say that I like both, but it depends on the mood, weather, environment or sometimes availability of stocks.

But what's unique with these beverages?

In my perspective, both of them are unique in their own standards. When you want to focus, or sleepy, exam, work I would recommend coffee, as it has caffeine which helps us to keep awake. But intaking more caffeine is also an issue. Also, black coffee without sugar is the best part in coffee (Americano or Expresso) when you don't add sugar in any beverage, you can feel the real feeling of coffee. And this is how I became a coffee person.

Let me talk about my never-ending love towards Tea, T- Time E- Effort, A- Aroma. When you see the procedure to make a tea it's simple awesome, you need patience and sincere effort so that you can get the aroma of TEA. Yes, Tea needs some time to make not like coffee which can make instantly. Like as coffee, tea has various consistence which needs to be in proper proportion. When to have a tea, I would suggest you have tea when it rains and when you completely drenched, hill stations, wants to spend a nice evening with an amazing sunset.

Some like normal tea, but you can try other varieties of tea (Ginger tea, Masala tea, Mint tea, Black tea, etc...), also if you want to get the fullest of tea, I suggest you to not add sugar in it. Just give a try, for the 1st time you will feel puke, but once you get used to it, then you start realizing the real taste and value of tea and coffee.

Finally, whatever it is, I admire both Tea as well as Coffee. Tea makes me to feel something whereas Coffee makes me to focus on something. You need to have right place and right person to have a sip of both, as many businesses, friendship and love started by a tea chat or coffee date.

Is Travel a Therapy?

Travel, Therapy, what you mean? Some of them will have a question.

Yes, Travelling is a Therapy. I would say you don't need to travel the world right now but for me travelling to a local park, beach or even wandering into the woods (MCC) is a therapy.

Why am I relating therapy with travel?
As you think, travel (just take a bus to new city or unknow or know place) would give you a peace of mind when you look around new places, your mind unconsciously getting relaxed, for an instance when you are going to a new place in a car you will be watching every aspect of that new place, and you feel the journey was very long, but while returning back to your house you would feel the journey was short. This shows how enthusiastic we are when we travel.

Recently I went to Trichy with my senior Souparno Anna, which was a mind-blowing experience for me, because I was really tired of my exam's schedules and other engagements. That trip was planned suddenly, Anna asked me a day before the trip, and we took the bus on Saturday night and came back the very next day.

Trichy was a nice city and the way native people approach us is quite different, they are very polite and approachable. When we were missed our route to Srirangam Temple ( Srirangam is a river island, which is bounded by the Kaveri River on one side and its distributary Kollidam on the other side. Considered as the first among the 108 Divya Desams, a group of Vishnu temples Source: Wikipedia) People help us find the temple and helped us in many ways throughout the journey.

After the visit to the temple we went to the rock fort located nearby. We took public transport and walk throughout the street so that we can connect with native people and their culture and after about 15 minutes of hiking we reached the top and the view (What a amazing view it is, still in my mind) which covers the entire part of the city.

And then we reached the station and return back to the hall.

What the outcome of the trip. The outcome is nothing, it just personal place for you, sometimes you need rest or some nature connection, that part of the time you need to plan a trip which you can afford.

Travelling helps us to heal when we broke.
Travelling leads us to innovate.
Travelling gives us insights.
Travelling makes us to connect.
Travelling makes us to love ourselves.

Maybe you can make a bucket list of places which you want to travel, start with an affordable and the closest one. Take a break when you complete a big task, travel.

Rainy Day

Mcc as it's unique features during monsoon season, you can't see the sun after 5 pm and classes would wind-up by 6 pm.

As a new cyclone πŸŒ€ is coming (Fengal), the intensity of rain will increase throughout this week.

It's very cold and could see the fog heading towards me while walking to the class.
Even I took a small nap because of this weather during the 20 mins break.

Then, 4th hour CP, my prof explained me a concept on "how to plan" which was very interesting segment. He taught us how to make objectives, policies, mission and vision, strategies and budget for the organisation.

One thing i would like add don't wear shoes for the upcoming week.

One last Dance Begins !!!

As you guys might know that this is going to be my final semester as an undergraduate student. I still remember my first day in this campus, where everything was new, and I was a tiny baby to this big institution. The first day orientation I was sitting in the middle row at Anderson Hall and answered a question which was asked during the orientation. That was my 1st day, and I received a cap from our beloved Principal Sir for answering that question. The question was "How many Halls are there in MCC?" Answer- 6 Halls. It's an easy question but the thing is to answer that question in a big forum (it was hard), I was tensed but my gut feeling said, "Just answer".

Wow what a memory!!

Okay let me come to the point, As the semester begins (Final Semester), I thought it will be the same as my previous semester and I can simply rock it, but here is the twist.

Class started at 1.45 PM as usual one of prof. came who is handling Corporate Policy. He commenced the class with full positive energy and then he gave us syllabus, schedules, CA2 component. I was like
"Sir what's going on here, the semester has just begun, you started speaking about farewell." But that's the reality, as this semester (even semester) it usually travels at the speed of light.

Then Second Hour started by Dr. Rachel Priya who is taking us IBE, she insists us to enjoy a lot this semester with proper attendance.

Third Hour by other prof. who is taking us Training and Development, he was very happy to see us in the class, I still remember his first-year class where he used to be strict, but now time changes, I really love his class and the way he is teaching. He did the same thing as other gave us syllabus, schedules for assignment submission and CA 2 Component. "Omg there are 2 hours more"

Break Time, Am I missing something?
Yes, CUS Inauguration!!

Yep, finally my friends got their badges from our president, I was really happy to see my fellows (Convenors and Dep Reps) there with suit up. "Great Ra Boys!!"

Fourth Hour, A bit late to class because of CUS inauguration, but okay I somehow managed to enter the class, again twist no 3 combine class at A212.
Is HOD sir giving orientation for our 6th Semester? NOOOOOO, He was giving us a lecture on how to do our Project Work for this SEMESTER. He gave us 3 sheets with all the details. Okeos I said to myself, "You can do it."

After the serious interaction on 4th hour, finally 5th hour HRM what a paper, really excited!! as I love HRM course (coz it involves people). Anyways ma'am gave us advice on how to do our project work.

Around 6.00 Pm class ended... Since the monsoon has just started, the class windup by 6.

In conclusion (formal writing, πŸ˜‚), this semester is going to be a jet for me and fellows (who is doing their 6th sem). What I would suggest, enjoy every moment of your life and get the last sip of it. It is going to be roller coaster, but we can manage it. If you have long time problem with your friend (and you didn't talk) make a move, try to solve those problems. Try to participate in any event which is going to happen, don't hesitate as we are running out of time. At last, what we are going to take, "just those unforgettable memories".

Room No 106

Room owner Mr.Raj Benson who is our mighty senior doing his Master's in Social Work, getting ready for his first international trip to Malaysia (Education Trip).

I,Jaffy,Benny,Abed,Anuballan,Reni and Isaiyas were in the room and helping him to pack his luggage and started roasting each other. We started from abed about his recent relationship. Then Souparno anna joined session (ig he had a break from OGB practice).

Then about 20 mins Benson anna gave us few advice about life, how to enjoy our last semester. Then I realised that there is only one more sem left, it's time.

After a while we had a discussion on choosing life partner. My friend asked a question to everyone "Whom you choose, the person who you love or the person who loves you?"

Everyone shared their point and then i answered that the person who loves me and explained that the love from a person will be more value than the love you choose.

Then he asked what if there are lot of negatives in the person loves you, i said that it might be their character, I don't want to assassinate their character. Let them be, time will let them know about them.

Instead focusing on the flaws of a person in life, we can understand them and admire their love and affection towards other.

"Let them be..."

Learning A Language (What a 15 mins can do daily in building a habit ?)

"Learn while you Earn" few of my friends might know this phrase, it's my college initiative to help students learn while they ...
