 Not as a senior, but as a proud Selaiyurian. 💛

The 84th Inter Hall Sports Meet the true festival of health and competition among the hall residents of Madras Christian College is always more than just a week of sports. It’s a celebration of spirit, unity, and pride.

Though I couldn’t be there this year, the photos and stories brought back every memory, every cheer, every emotion.

Last year, during the 83rd Inter Hall Sports Meet, I wrote in my blog:

"We couldn't make it, but I have great belief in our juniors they will, they should. One day we will baptize the Shield in our pond and make our Selaiyur soil proud."

And as I believed, they did it.

This victory is not just a win it is the result of hardship, sleepless nights, discipline, and unstoppable spirit. Congratulations, guys! Once again, you’ve shown what Selaiyur stands for.

It’s been 7 years, and the aura of the Shield feels different when it’s with us. Thank you to every Selaiyurian who gave their sweat and soul to make this possible.

Victory feels different when it comes from your juniors. It’s like watching your mentee create art with the guidance of mentors. I still remember the struggles we faced last year  the complications, the setbacks. And this year, my juniors showed us what “JUST LIKE THAT” truly means.

Now it’s time to celebrate, take that well-deserved sleep, and gear up for Games Fury (Battle of Brilliance). To everyone in MCC — participate, feel the vibe, and experience the magic of the season finale.

And yes… hoping for Gully Cricket this year too. 😉
